Away isn’t hosting a Black Friday sale per se, but it is opening a holiday pop-up in Brooklyn on Black Friday that runs through January 5, 2019. The first 100 customers who visit on Friday, November 29, will get a personalized foil-stamped luggage tag.
The temporary store at 111 North Third Street in Williamsburg will be the luggage brand’s second New York location. It will be open at 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
Hoping to get a new Fjallraven backpack? Similar to Away, the Swedish outdoor adventure brand won’t be discounting its gear this year. But if you go to any of its 21 brand stores on Black Friday, you could walk away with 1 of 1,500 free passes: the National Parks Annual Pass is worth $80 and is valid through November 2020. Stores open at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 29, and the passes are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
