Plan to spend several hours at this world-class museum. Admission is free for the permanent collections. Highlights include American art of all periods, French Impressionist and Post-Impressionist art, British sporting art, Art Nouveau and Art Deco furnishings, the famed Pratt Collection of Fabergé eggs and other jeweled objects, English silver, and impressive displays of Classical, South Asian, Himalayan, and African art. The beautiful site includes a reflecting pool and terraced sculpture garden, overlooked from the large windows and view decks of the casual Best Café and the chic, refined Amuse restaurant.
