Desert Safari Dubai

Desert Safari Dubai
Whether you want to explore the stretch of sand dunes 40 minutes outside of Dubai or visit the largest expanse of uninhabited desert in the world, known as the Empty Quarter, a desert safari is the way to do it. There are any number of tour companies that will set you up for the adventure, which usually includes exhilarating (sometimes terrifying) dune-bashing rides, in which you'll slide up and down the dunes in a 4x4; an Emirati-style supper under the stars; and, of course, a camel ride. Platinum Heritage can tailor its outings to the needs of your particular group.

A Desert Safari Deep in Dubai
Get away from the "City of Gold" for a fun adventure in the sand dunes of Dubai. Jump the dunes in a jeep tour, watch the sun set and head to a stimulating bedouin camp for some mediterranean cruise, shisha smoking, and belly dancing. It gets a bit cold in the desert once the sun goes down so bring a jacket. If you happen to meet a local who has a bedouin camp ask them about thier secret spot. They all have their own atv trucks (totally suped-up) and go off to the local dunes and play HARD! It's so much fun, almost flipped!

Look Ma! No Hands!
My sister and I were in Dubai and getting a bit tired of the skyscrapers and man-made attractions. We decided to do a desert safari and found out how much fun you can have in a desert—even if you're a bit past your prime! I got to sand board on a dune. We don't do much of that back home in Boston. Plus the picture makes me look considerably more athletically skilled than I am so that was a huge plus! We also rode a slightly resentful camel, smoked shish (or tried to), held a falcon, saw a whirling dervish and a belly dancer and best of all got to have wine under the desert stars!

Wahoooooo! What else is there to do with thousands of miles of open desert land?
Get out of the city and head into the dunes for an adrenaline rush.... So much fun. Our jeep did get stuck in the dunes and the other cars had to pull us out. Funny experience. End the rush with a breathtaking sunset....
