This pedestrians-only boulevard in the heart of South Beach has changed a lot over the years, and mostly not for the better. Cool indie boutiques have largely been replaced by Pottery Barn and Victoria's Secret and any local Miamian that respects their money (and taste buds) doesn't dine here; but the one thing that has not changed is what I call the "Parade"—that is, the daily (mostly at night) parade of humanity on display here. This is what I love the most about this place—you can literally wear anything and you would not look out of place. From nearly naked surfers to six-foot-tall models on wobbly heels to rich Argentinian grandmothers decked out in Prada, everyone comes down here to strut their stuff. My suggestion? Grab a cup of gelato (or an all natural smoothie during the Sunday Farmer's Market) and join the parade. Also the design is kind of cool.
