Consider this pretty Orlando park SeaWorld’s add-on luxury experience. Like visiting an all-inclusive resort for the day, Discovery Cove (which belongs to SeaWorld) treats all guests to an in-water interaction with the park’s resident dolphins, free drinks (yes, beer and wine, too!), and generous breakfast and lunch buffet meals throughout the day. There are man-made lagoons, waterfalls, and beaches throughout the lushly landscaped property, where you can relax in a lounge chair or a hammock or book a private cabana area for the day. And in the park’s amazing snorkeling lagoon, you can fin alongside large schools of fish, de-barbed sting rays, and even sharks. Whatever you do, don’t miss a stroll through Discovery Cove’s amazing aviary, home to the craziest birds you can imagine from around the world, many of which are so tame they’ll approach you to be hand fed.

Just add water
Practically overflowing with choices, here are just a splashing of water parks and amenities in Orlando to choose from: vertical drops at Wet ’n Wild on International Drive, slush slides at Blizzard Beach and wave pools at Typhoon Lagoon at Disney, and underwater tubes at Aquatica at Sea World. At the new LEGOLAND Water Park, families can bond at Build-a-Raft River by custom designing a LEGO raft and then drifting together down the lazy river. Discovery Cove’s immersive experience includes snorkeling with tropical fish, swimming with dolphins and stingrays, and feeding exotic birds. Don’t forget the sunscreen, a beach towel, and a change of clothes.
