Wedgwood wouldn't feel out of place in San Francisco or Seattle. Smart and easygoing, it has a menu emphasizing local and foraged ingredients: Sea radish (salty stuff) or woodland salad leaves may accompany the chef's creations, like organic Scottish lamb loin or eggplant and goat cheese cannelloni. The ground-floor dining room offers a cozy bistro ambiance (with the kitchen visible through the serving hatch), while down in the basement the tables are dressed in starched linens.
