This teashop, the oldest in Europe, looks like the sort of place you’d find in a Harry Potter film. It opened in 1835 and has altered very little over the decades since. The wonderful scent of green, white and black tea that fills the store just adds to the sense of it being rather magical. In contrast, around the corner from the store you’ll find a door that leads up to a café, a modern addition to the business, which feels like something you might see in a Miss Marple film and is an ideal place for afternoon tea.
