Go for a Scuba at Cleo Street Beach

Though every beach along Laguna’s shores is unique Cleo Street Beach could just a little bit more special than most. At least in the eyes of scuba divers. That’s because right off its shore sits the Foss 125 Barge. In 1958, the barge sunk just off land and is submerged at a mere 55-feet, making the dive ideal for everyone from beginner to expert. But, the barge isn’t the only thing lurking below the surface. Foss 125 happens to be located in the middle of Laguna’s Marine Reserve, which is home to plenty of sea life including seals, otters, plenty of fish, and sometimes larger marine wildlife. The barge is also slowly being taken over by coral making it a stunning sight to see. But, even without a dive, Cleo Street Beach is still worth a visit. Grab a coffee nearby and take a stroll in the sand down toward the tidepools with someone special. Make sure to bring your best four-legged friend along too as the beach is also dog-friendly.
