GeysirThere are two Geysir stores in downtown Reykjavik—both on Skólavörðustígur, the attractive road that stretches upwards towards Hallgrimskirkja. Specializing in high-quality wool garments and outdoor products, both shops are nicely designed and well stocked with Icelandic and international designs, including Geysir, Fjallråven, Alas, Ganni, Royal RepubliQ, Wood Wood, and Barbour. There are blankets, pants, sweaters, backpacks, and more—none of which are cheap, but for the most part they’re good-looking and long-lasting.

The best (and most expensive) shopping in Reykjavik
Gorgeous blankets, perfect ponchos and wraps and capes, thick wooly socks, miles of scarves. Geysir is the most gorgeous local brand I found in Iceland, but that precious wool doesn't come cheap. I never pulled the trigger on a cape (and i went back many. many. times) and now i regret it! but fyi: they have an online store ;)

With a chic clothing line inspired by Nordic city life and the country’s history of craft and design, it's pretty much impossible to leave this store empty handed. Located on one of Reykjavík’s most enchanting streets, Geysir’s mission is to supply everyday pieces that tell a story through every thread.
