Scrimshaw Museum
Located on the first floor of Peter's Café Sport, this unique museum displays pieces made by engraving or carving whale bones and teeth. Scrimshaw originated aboard whaling vessels as a way for sailors to combat monotony. The interesting collection includes portraits, miniature boats and jewelry made by the skillful fishermen and sailors of the island.
