Take care when riding the Wasatch Crest Trail; this popular alpine route offers up sensational mountain views, which means your eyes will often be pulled from the trail beneath your tires as you whip around one switchback after the next. You can tackle Wasatch in many different ways - trails lead in and out from different points, you can take a shuttle to the top of Big Cottonwood Canyon, or you can do the crest in and out from Park City - possibly the most spectacular part of the trail. The trail offers a mix of rugged, difficult terrain and slower, gradual slopes - which means that Wasatch truly is for riders of all levels. Due to elevation, the main riding season begins in July.
