Locally known as MAVI, this museum hosts changing exhibitions by artists Chilean and otherwise, as well as a 650-piece permanent collection, all of which makes a statement on cultural diversity and promotes arts conservation. Check the events calendar for workshops, guided tours. and concerts; don’t miss the first-class museum store; and not least of all, the café isn’t half bad. Probably Chile’s pinnacle institution for contemporary art; a must-do for those seeking culture.
