MeadowoodIn Napa, you want to be in the club. And if you’re in the club, you’re at Meadowood.
Set on 250 sprawling acres of picture-perfect wine-country land just off the Silverado Trail outside St. Helena, this country club and resort is where Napa’s big names hang out. Why? Well, the three-Michelin-starred restaurant certainly doesn’t hurt, especially when paired with its see-and-be-seen bar and seriously impressive wine list. Plus, the resort goes out of its way to cater to oenophiles both in and out of the industry, hosting tastings, events, and meetings. But, even beyond wine, it’s just one of the most exclusive and luxuriously well-equipped spots in the valley, from its golf course with club-style grill that’s popular for power lunches, to the two pools, one of which is family-friendly, just the way the locals like. Meadowood also boasts one of the largest and most distinctive spas in Napa. Each of the 85 rooms stands alone, for maximum privacy, and is designed in an understatedly luxurious way that offers every comfort while still putting the focus on the stunning scenery just outside the French doors.

Napa Valley Restaurant Month
For the entire month of January — or what some cutely refer to as 'Cabernet Season,' Napa Valley restaurants become ever so slightly more approachable. During the Valley-wide restaurant month, over two dozen of the region's restaurants — from high end, fine-dining establishments like Meadowood, SolBar and Auburge to the more casual likes of Cindy's and Carpe Diem. Price fix menus range in price and offerings, from a taco and tequila flight at St. Helena's La Condesa to a multi-course French affair (with wine pairings) at Napa's La Toque.
