Julep
A restaurant touting itself as “Sophisticated Southern” may not be the first thing that comes to mind when planning to eat in
Denver. But Julep, which opened in early 2018, is like the up-and-coming RiNo neighborhood in which it’s located: full of surprises. With a patio perfect for sunny Denver days and a mezzanine to spy on the kitchen inside, there are plenty of places to enjoy their array of dishes for weekend brunch (can you say "soft shell crab benedict" five times fast?) or dinner—and don't forget the drinks! They also do a Sunday supper with a special menu. Our favorite bites—the biscuits and the monkey bread—may seem simple, but they also serve as a testament to the power of homey, cozy cooking.
