This modern American restaurant from husband-and-wife team David and Anna Posey places a strong emphasis on contemporary and classic techniques and locally sourced, seasonal ingredients — a simple approach that’s already taken them far. Within just months they’ve earned plenty of “Best New Restaurant” titles nationwide for their aptly executed and flavor-packed plates, like the duck liver tart with buckwheat and salted ramps, the soft scrambled eggs with confit chicken thigh and crispy grains, or the sunflower seed parfait with sour honey, licorice, and bee pollen. Post-dinner be sure to grab a drink and head out to the patio, where a hearth, benches, and blankets await.
