Sound, video and lighting special effects transform a winding one-mile path through Cougar Mountain’s old-growth rainforest. This night walk unfolds chapters of a campfire tale: step into its dreamscape as a ranger seeking lost travelers. “We create experiences using the local culture and natural beauty of site for inspiration. Here both are amazing,” explained Jonathan St-Onge, a producer for The Moment Factory, the studio behind this spectacle and others for the NFL, Madonna, Arcade Fire and Cirque du Soleil. His team worked with The Adventure Group Whistler to create this enchanted woodland. Open from July 18 until October 2018, the surreal stroll opens at sundown: a $29 ticket includes a shuttle from the village (the venue has no parking whatsoever).
