Hemingway's Watamu

Who knew this was here? In between the bustling towns of Mombassa and Malindi lies a quiet coastal town with beautiful beaches and inviting locals. If you venture through the town center you will arrive at the somewhat secluded Hemingway’s Resort. It is right on the beach, and it is supposedly an old hangout Hemingway frequented to write his famous novel The Snows of Kilimanjaro. If you get a chance, go during the low season when tourists are scarce.
