The Gant
The Gant feels like your mountain home away from home. Tucked away on five acres at the base of Aspen Mountain, the Gant’s condos offer the comforts of staying in a home but with the service perks of a hotel. Guests can choose from one-, two-, three-, or four-bedroom condos, making this a great option for families and friends on ski getaways. Condos feature full kitchens so you don’t have to worry about booking reservations in town each night, and the staff can arrange for grocery and liquor delivery right to your door. Condos also have wood-burning fireplaces, large living rooms for lounging, and patios or balconies to soak in the fresh mountain air. A housekeeper comes to tidy up each day while you’re off hiking or skiing, and families have the option to book child care. The Gant is just steps from the Silver Queen Gondola and offers ski storage and overnight tuning. After a day outdoors, guests can relax weary muscles in one of the Gant’s three hot tubs.

Neighborhood Vibe
The Gant is steps from downtown Aspen. The hotel’s café doesn’t serve dinner, so book ahead for reservations in town, particularly during peak seasons. For a mountain town, Aspen has a surprisingly good food scene. Matsuhisa is the place to splurge on sushi; Meat & Cheese offers delicious roast chicken and farm-to-table fare; while La Palapa serves killer margaritas and Mexican food. The Gant is walking distance to Silver Queen Gondola. To get first tracks, ask the concierge to book a Powder Tour. Set aside an afternoon to have lunch on-mountain at the legendary Cloud 9. In the summer the concierge can point you in the direction of hikes to suit all fitness levels. Make time for some culture while you’re in town and visit the Aspen Art Museum.

Insider Tips
Who’s it for: Independent travelers; families; groups; travelers who like having the option to cook; nature lovers; active travelers.
Our favorite rooms: Premier Aspen Condos look like they could be featured in a home decor magazine, with lots of natural woods, modern art, and funky lighting, plus loads of space.
Good to know: The Gant Vans provide complimentary on-demand transportation anywhere in Aspen and also to and from the airport. The vans are infamous in Aspen, so much so that locals have created a drinking game in their honor. When you are sitting at a bar or restaurant and see a Gant Van go by the window, everybody must cheers and take a sip of their drink. If two Gant Vans pass at the same time, everybody must cheers and finish their drink.
