Take a Dip in the Wannsee
When the mercury soars past the 30s during summer, Berliners enjoy nothing more than going for a dip in one of the many lakes around the city. Wannsee is the city’s largest lido, dating back to the turn of the 20th century. It is now a Cultural Heritage site and continues to draw crowds for its long beach and clear waters. Onsite facilities include changing rooms, a restaurant and small refreshment kiosks, and there’s plenty of giant chess sets out on the beach in case you forget your book…
