If you're a sucker for chalkboards, simple design, local products, and good food and coffee, Revival Market is your place. Everything served at this café is homemade, from the flaky chocolate croissants and kolachs (fruit-filled pastries) to the breakfast tacos and sandwiches. While you're there, you can also drool over the artisanal charcuterie and other local products.
Took a stroll at the Heights Boulevard, and found this shop, old market style, just like a general store from the turn of the 20th Century. Baristas wear a nice denim apron and hats or caps and they prepare the best macchiato and cortado. Do you drink coffee and are in Houston? then this place is a must. Catalina Cafe is not bad, but the old fashioned style is more romantic.
