Breckenridge, Colorado, is only a 90-minute drive from Denver and has some of the best learning slopes in the country. I came here with my 6-year-old daughter to go to ski school during our Thanksgiving break. The long, easy, groomed, gentle cruisers were a blessing for us, but there are plenty of advanced runs, glades, and bowls out there as well—especially with the new 543-acre Peak 6 expansion.
