JALC is the only place in Doha offering Cajun dishes such as gumbo, jambalaya, Louisiana shrimps and grits. The wine selection is impressive and the cocktails are not overpriced. One Saturday every month they have a Family Jazz Afternoon, which is the only day when children and Qatari women in their national dress are allowed in.
