Beale Street Landing

251 Riverside Dr, Memphis, TN 38103, USA

Beale Street Landing has taken years to come to fruition, but the riverboat docking facility is a welcome sight for those wanting to photograph the beautiful Mississippi River. In the planning and construction phases for about 10 years, the Landing was built as a docking center for cruises that make their way up and down the Mississippi River. The facility’s state-of-the-art design allows for it to be in use at almost any stage of the river. Inside, the building eventually will offer a restaurant next to a large gift shop. But outside is the jewel—unobstructed views of the Mississippi River and Memphis skyline stretch for miles. The grassy area of adjacent Tom Lee Park extends onto the top of the landing, offering an unparalleled green space in Downtown Memphis.
