This is where the smart Florentine ladies-who-shop come for a pit stop between purchases but it's popular too for an early-evening aperitivo. It's also one of the few places you can buy fresh truffles in Florence: look out for these precious, musty-smelling tubers in November/December. They are at their best shaved over fresh taglierini tossed in melted butter. .
