Hanuman

This award-winning Darwin institution is a huge step up from your usual curry house. As befits the city known as Australia's "gateway to Asia," Hanuman serves sophisticated and innovative Indian and Southeast Asian, including Nonya (or Peranakan), dishes using local produce, such as wild barramundi tikka and tamarind pork salad. There’s a good range of vegetarian options, as well as an extensive drinks list that includes both Australian and international wines and beers.
