An amazing and hard to find Synesso Cyncra espresso machine is the center of attention in this tightly packed cafe and sitting here almost feels like you've been invited to the back room of their coffee roastery as you enjoy your cup, sitting between stacks of bags filled with the finest raw coffee beans ready to be roasted.

Said to have the 5th best coffee in the world and one of the pioneers of Berlin's Third Wave Coffee movement, Bonanza Coffee Roasters is the one place coffee lovers should not miss.
Housed in a nondescript soft blue building in a quiet area of Prenzlauer Berg, you may just walk past the hipster cafe as their name signage is their name written in a font so thin and cursive you may miss it.
Bonanza offers 2 types of beans which change every 2 - 3 months. The flat white for just €2.90 is highly recommended! Otherwise, go for a house blend or black pour over.
It's a small outfit with very limited seating inside but who wants to sit inside when you can sit on the benches outside enjoying the weather and people watch?
Beware the queues on Sunday because just across the main road where the famous Mauerpark Bear Pit karaoke is held each Sunday morning. Free wifi here too!
