Shopping with the Locals at the Old Market
Occupying two halls constructed in 1899-1901, the old market of Hala Mirowska is one of the oldest buildings in the area, and still retains a few bullet holes from WWII. There is an open-air market in the middle of the two buildings and street sellers circling the area. From fresh fruit and vegetables, to fish and the city's best flower market, you can join the local residents taking care of grocery shopping here - at reasonable prices - while getting an authentic slice of local life.
