“Bart” created a book-lover’s heaven! This open-air bookstore is everything one could hope for: mazes of shelves to explore, shaded tables for all-day reading, a huge selection of new and used titles, themed collections (cookbooks in the “kitchen” and an impressive selection of art books in the “gallery”). I found myself wandering in circles, studying every bookshelf-I just couldn’t get enough! They’re open during daylight hours, but you can buy books on the honor-system at night...just pick a book off the outside shelves and throw a few coins through the slot in the door. This book store is the heart and soul of Ojai--don’t miss out on this grand book experience!
