Referred to by locals as Pjaca, Narodni Trg (or the People’s Square) was the first settlement to be developed beyond the palace walls in the 14th century. Today, it’s a popular spot for elderly gentleman to meet and discuss the daily news. Lining the square are the 15th-century Gothic Town Hall, the Art Nouveau-style Nakić Palace, and the urban-chic Bistro No Stress.
