Running from the Lido neighborhood to pebbled Formosa Beach, the Promenade do Lido is Madeira’s most remarkable seafront walkway. Lined with palm trees and botanical gardens, it offers terrific views of the Atlantic and in the distance, Cabo Girão. The Promenade also passes many beaches and swimming complexes such as the Lido, Ponta Gorda and the Naval Club.
