Náplavka
Although the city’s urbanists might tell you Prague’s riverside still has a long way to go, the embankments along the Vltava have definitely been flowing in the right direction. The top spot is Rašínovo Nábřeží, simply referred to as Náplavka. Get off at the tram station Výton. On weekends during the warmer months, there is one of Prague’s most popular farmer’s markets held here. Náplavka is also home to Bajkazyl: a bar, bike service and cultural spot — film, concerts, dance parties and spontaneous events — all in one. And what riverside could be complete with out some boats. Check out the (A)void floating gallery, bar, and from October through April, Lázně na lodi, an onboard sauna where you can sweat and drink beer while you stare out at the city. Some jump into the river as a plunge pool (but they have one of those as well. The same style tub you will find carp swimming in during Christmas). Whatever you choose to do, Náplavka is a great spot to feel the energy of the city with an exceptional riverside view.
