A peaceful, romantic, 19th-century garden is somewhat hidden here. But it has a kiosk, esplanade, and view over Lisbon. The view includes Liberdade Avenue and its western slope, where stands the São Pedro de Alcântara vista point and also a view of downtown and the river.
The main entrance is at Júlio Andrade Street. There you can find some small palaces and also a mansion designed by José Luis Monteiro, the architect of beautiful Rossio Train Station.
Two important facts: Torel Garden is situated on top of one of the seven hills of Lisbon and is very near Lavra lift.
