On the edge of one of America’s greatest national parks, the Hotel Jeffery is a true “Hotel California” - renowned for having up to 17 ghosts who “can check out anytime they like but who have never left”. We arrived in the afternoon and were met by the owner, Forest (real name), who was the only human we saw in the hotel in the 24 hours we were there. The townsfolk though were another thing altogether, especially at 9pm when we returned from Yosemite and ‘randomly’ met 10% of the population... The Sheriff slowly cruised by three times as I took this photo of the building opposite the hotel... which was spoooky enough it itself.
