Grove of Titans

Howland Hill Road

Wife and I wanted to see the biggest trees in North America. This led us to the northern part of California. We had read about the elusive and secretive Grove of Titans online and hoped to find it! After much research and exploration our efforts paid off. This is a shot of me taken by my wife in front of one of the Titans. It was truly a majestic experience and will forever be a highlight of our life together!

Not the largest, but beautiful

Its fair to let people know that the Grove of Titans does not have the largest known Coast redwood, in case that’s specifically what they hope to find. But the location is still just as beautiful as most spots in Jedediah Smith redwoods are. Over a dozen new giant redwoods have been discovered elsewhere.
