Maybe it’s because the slush has soaked through our boots and a Nor’easter has frozen an Elvis sneer onto our face, but we find ourselves this week unusually receptive to travel deals that involve Tahiti and Bora Bora. Fortunately, the oft-acclaimed Air Tahiti Nui recently announced just such a deal. The airline’s tempting “Embraced by Mana” vacation package promotion will put you on the beach in French Polynesia for about the cost of a good set of snow tires. Among the highlights:

“Magical Moorea,” which includes round-trip airfare from Los Angeles to Tahiti, a round-trip ferry from Tahiti and Moorea, and five nights at either the Manava Beach Resort or the InterContinental Resort & Spa, along with a ray-feeding excursion and a snorkeling tour on the reef. From $1,998 per person.

“Family in Tahiti and Moorea,” a six-night Polynesian escape for two adults and two kids that includes airfare from Los Angeles, one night at the Manava Suite Resort on Tahiti and five nights at the Manava Beach Resort & Spa on Moorea. From $2,898 per adult based on two adults and two kids (15 and under).

“20 Days of Summer,” an epic adventure that delivers five islands in 20 days. In addition to round-trip airfare from Los Angeles to Tahiti, the package includes an inter-islands air pass on Air Tahiti, and between one to five nights at five different hotels—one each on Tahiti, Moorea, Huahine, Bora Bora, and tiny Motu Tiano (pictured above). From $4,998 per person.

The “Embraced by Mana” packages are available for travel through the end of May. Naturally, booking is based on availability and there are some restrictions. For the full scoop, visit airtahitinui.com or call (877) 468-2448.
