Bongo Room offers one of Chicago’s best brunches at three different locations in the city. I’m partial to the vegetarian croissant served with spinach, tomato and basil mayo on a gigantic croissant. However, if sweet treats are your breakfast thing, Bongo Room has one of the most creative pancake menus in the city. Get your pancakes with crumbled oreos and a praline cream sauce or with meyer lemon cream and blackberries, crusted with graham cracker crumbs. There’s almost always a wait at Bongo Room because they don’t take reservations but I recommend you wait it out because the food is worth it. They’re open for breakfast and lunch every day of the week until 2pm.
