Parque de los Novios
Parque de los Novios, in the center of Santa Marta’s colonial sector, is perfect for people-watching in the late afternoons when the tropical heat abates. Everyone from the gentry to the common folk—not to mention a plethora of brides posing beneath the gazebo—seems to treat themselves to a nice stroll around the park. Nearby restaurants and bars come alive after night falls, as do, of course, street artists and musicians.More Recommendations

Parque de los Novios
Located in the historic center of Santa Marta, Parque de los Novios is one of the most popular gathering spots in the city, bustling with locals and tourists, including many couples out for a stroll (its name translates as the Park of Lovers). A point of civic pride, the shady park, which is paved in red bricks, includes a neoclassical pavilion, several statues and formal plantings. In addition to a number of historic civic buildings and churches, the bars and cafés along the perimeter of the park contribute to the festive atmosphere.
