The bike path makes it easy for cyclists to pedal the four miles from town. There is a lifeguard in the main parking area, but no other facilities. If you plan on entering from the dirt roads off Hummock Pond Rd., arrive early as parking gets crowded in high season. Be aware that there is often a strong undertow offshore.
