Torres de Serranos

Enjoy panoramic vistas of the city from Torres de Serranos
After dark, this medieval edifice looks more like a king's fortress than a city gate. Built in the 14th century by Pere Balaguer, the gate's interior shows off the building's beautiful bone structure, but has little else of interest to offer. That said, the nominal entry fee is worth paying for the sweeping views of Valencia and Turia River from the terrace. Photographers interested in snapping views of the gate, and Valencia at different times of day can spring for a 3 day pass. Torres de Serrano is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10am until 6pm, from October 16 through March 14, and until 7pm from March 15 through October 15, as well as Sundays from 10am until 3pm.
