Anchored Coffee

70 Ochterloney Street

The coffee world keeps getting smaller. First, there was cheap, mass-produced beans like Folger’s, then Starbucks introduced latte to the world’s vocabulary, and now micro-roasteries are the next wave. Anchored Coffee is Nova Scotia’s small-batch bean roastery. They brew coffee out of a shop in Dartmouth, across the bridge from downtown Halifax. It’s also available in Halifax’s Historic Properties at their cafe Two if by Sea, and at the espresso bar and “toastery” inside Pro Skates, where fancy toast and pop tarts can also be enjoyed.
