Saint Michael's Church
Charleston's oldest church
Located at the intersection of Broad and Meeting, St. Michael's is one of the "Four Corners of Law": each corner of the intersection houses a historic government building, aside from St. Michael's--God's law! St. Michael's is also the oldest church building in a city full of them, and the structure has been through every milestone in Charleston's history, with scars from the Civil War and a steeple sunken by the 1886 earthquake.
