From garden to table prestige
Chef Julien Bousseau grew up on a farm, so he has long understood the fresh flavors of local produce. He then went on to work in prestigious Paris kitchens before settling in Tourettes sur Loup nine years ago. Kitchen gardens are his favorite source, and he highlights their qualities in his cuter than quaint little restaurant of stone walls and wooden beams tucked in to a charming alpine village. Prices are reasonable, despite the prestigious Michelin star earned by dishes like veal roasted with celery and coffee, smoked mackerel with dried fennel, or a risotto with cepe mushrooms harvested in the forest nearby. Sweet tooths will enjoy the pistachio financier cookie with orange cream and quince sorbet.
