Adventurous souls should plan for a night dip, before a full moon, in the bioluminescent Glistening Waters, also known as "Luminous Lagoon." The marina, located just an hour north of Montego Bay, offers scheduled night tours along this fascinating body of water. As your tour boat takes off and speeds in the dark of night, you'll spot fluorescent blue streaks that form when living microorganisms are disturbed. You can jump in for a swim, too, and glow in the dark as you splash about. It's an amazing phenomenon to witness, and it's said to exist in only three lagoons in the world. On site is the Glistening Waters restaurant, with beautiful marina views, for drinks and a bite prior to your night ride.
