Saint-Anne Beach
One of the most popular beaches on the Guadeloupe Islands archipelago is Sainte-Anne–a family friendly, mile long white sand stretch in a pedestrian-friendly coastal town. A coral reef protects the beach, allowing for calm Caribbean waters and shallow swimming for the little ones. Sainte-Anne Beach is also the perfect daytime escape, with everything you need on site–including a fruit and spice market, casual beachfront restaurants, and a nearby arts and crafts shopping mall. After sunset, the beach is illuminated until midnight and active families flock over for a cool night swim, reading, beach volleyball, with or without kids, and street snacks. Food trucks come out for the night, serving up "bokit" sandwiches and conch kebabs.
