Grande Anse Beach
One of most beautiful beaches in Guadeloupe Islands, Grande Anse is a wide, nearly mile-long, blond stretch located on Basse-Terre, with breathtaking views of bluffs ahead and lined with towering palm trees. The blue waves are constant and make it a fun dip for everyone–stick close to shore for added safety. The sheer width and size of the beach make it one of the most impressive shorelines on the archipelago. At the entrance to the beach, vendors are set up in the parking area and sell bottled fruit rhum and snacks. Sunsets on Grande Anse attract the most locals, but it never feels crowded here.
