The ruined castle of Montaigle
The fortress/castle was built back at the beginning of the 14th century on a rocky outcrop. Two centuries later the castle was destroyed and that is what remains today.

The castle can be visited in the warmer months, but not in October, I just found out today! Still you can walk close to it but the best view are from below, unless you plan to scale the cliff.

Belgian ruins
You can visit these 14th century ruins from April to October, which are located just a few kilometers from the town of Dinant, which is also worth a visit.
