MACRO is one of Rome‘s lesser known contemporary art museums, which is in constant threat of closure. The innovative gallery and working studio space is housed partially in an old Peroni beer factory and was renovated in 2010. The MACRO is privileged to host ENEL Contemporary Art winners in engaging and interactive installations including December 2013’s Harmonic Motion by Toshiko Horiuchi MacAdam.
