Cinquera Rainforest Park

Bird watchers won’t want to miss Cinquera Rainforest Park, home to El Salvador’s national bird, the turquoise-browed motmot, as well as a number of other avian species. In addition, there are trails to hike and waterfalls to spot, and history to learn as well: the small town of Cinquera is known for having been a stronghold of guerrilla resistance during the civil war.
