Capri Tiberio Palace
In the center of town and steps away from tasty restaurants, chic wine bars, and ritzy boutiques, the Capri Tiberio Palace mixes la dolce vita glamour with a globe-trotting sensibility that’s equal parts quirky and elegant. Spaces are studded with wanderlusty knickknacks and curios like globes, vintage trunks, and an eclectic collection of art, while bookshelves are stocked with beautiful coffee-table tomes from art book publisher Taschen. The chic Jacky Bar is full of eye-catching details like wicker poufs, a collection of Panama hats adorning a wall, and a white baby grand that soundtracks aperitivo hour. The equally elegant restaurant, doused in peachy and purple hues, opens onto a panoramic terrace with gorgeous views over the island’s coast, craggy peaks, and the sea. The restaurant not only serves up tasty regional dishes, but also offers kosher fare. The spa serves its own variety of locally flavored treats, with signature treatments including the Citrus Blossom and Like a Raviolo Caprese that wouldn’t be amiss on a dining menu, while the indoor/outdoor swimming pool, though small, is a savior in the summer heat.
