Low-cost carrier Norwegian just sweetened our summer plans with some new budget-friendly flights to Europe. The airline on Tuesday said it will add two more nonstop routes for summer 2019 out of Boston’s Logan International to Rome and to Madrid.
Norwegian will also be moving its existing London service from Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport to Miami International Airport, and its London service from Oakland International Airport will move to San Francisco International Airport.
The new service from Boston to Rome will start on March 31, 2019, and will operate four times each week, with one-way fares starting at $300 for Economy and at $780 for Premium (including taxes). And the new Madrid service will launch on May 2, 2019, and will operate three times per week. One-way fares for those flights will start at $200 for Economy and at $640 for Premium class (including taxes). Both new routes will only run during the summer season. They are in addition to Norwegian’s existing nonstop flights from Boston to London and Paris.
The new Miami and San Francisco to London flights will kick off on March 31, 2019—Miami to London will be a daily service, and the San Francisco to London flight will operate five times a week. One-way Economy fares for both flights will start at $160, and one-way Premium fares for both flights will start at $720, including taxes.
Norwegian will also be increasing the frequencies of its Madrid, Paris, and Rome service from several U.S. gateways for the summer, including from Denver, Los Angeles, New York, Oakland, and Orlando.
